Multi-point thermocouples – creating temperature profiles with multiple measuring points

Multi-point thermocouples are temperature sensors that feature several integrated thermocouples of different lengths. This allows the temperature to be recorded at several measuring points using just one sensor. Our multi-point thermocouples make it possible to create a temperature profile using a single process access point. In contrast to point temperature measurement, recording temperature profiles with multi-point thermocouples makes it possible to determine heat distribution over an entire area. This is particularly relevant for quality assurance in heat treatment and in temperature-dependent production processes. For example, multi-point thermocouples from RÖSSEL-Messtechnik ensure the coating temperature is correct when producing semiconductors for an increased product yield.
