For good reason: Rössel Messtechnik is an official DIN member

Imagine the following:

You buy a machine screw at the hardware store and have to get the nut customised because no other fits.

You want to finish writing a letter, but wherever you look, no two pieces of paper look the same.

Is that hard for you to imagine? For us too.

To tame this chaos, there are standards and guidelines that define and record jointly developed and standardised solutions in our colourful world. These standards can be found in all areas of life: whether in paper sizes, ISO threads, sockets or temperature measurement technology.

Led by the German Institute for Standardisation (Deutsches Institut für Normung e.V. - DIN for short) industry, science and representatives of ministries, authorities, agencies and society work in standardisation committees on standards that offer solutions to everyday challenges or special issues and are used nationally and internationally.

Rössel-Messtechnik GmbH has been a highly motivated member of the VDI/VDE-GMA Technical Committee 4.62 "Contact Thermometry" in Division 4 "Application of Measurement and Sensor Technology" for many years. Together with our competent partners, we advocate the standardisation of temperature measurement and measurement technology. The most recent success is the adoption of VDI guideline 3520 for surface thermometers.

But he who rests, rusts: We are already working tirelessly in committee on the next VDI guidelines 3512-1 to 3512-4 for temperature measurement in building automation.

Target-orientated, solution-orientated, inquisitive - working in DIN has long been part of our DNA of values.

It is therefore only logical and natural that we are now taking the next step:

Since 01.05.2024, Rössel-Messtechnik GmbH has been an official member of the Deutsches Institut für Normung e.V..

Open to new ideas and in cooperation with our competent partners, we look forward to find solutions for the future and make them available to everyone in DIN standards. We will continue to put our heart and soul into our work in the standardisation committees - but from now on with the DIN logo proudly emblazoned on our chest.
